After over 8 years of leading analytics, technology, and innovation for some of the sports and entertainment industry’s most influential brands, StellarAlgo’s founder decided it was time to create a Company that would enable organizations to build cohesive, transparent and sophisticated cultures anchored in data-based decision-making. Today’s companies often lack the resources and “know-how” to execute in a measurable way and stellaralgo is uniquely positioned to help them quickly and cost-effectively organize, analyze and leverage the data they need to make successful business decisions.
Vincent Ircandia founded StellarAlgo in 2016 to assist organizations in their efforts to make data-based decisions.
Prior to StellarAlgo, Vince was Senior Vice President of Business Operations for the Portland Trail Blazers where he worked cross-functionally to enhance data-based decision-making across the organization and ultimately affect bottom-line growth. This included creation of one of the NBA’s top Business Analytics departments comprised of 6 members and the largest data-visualization implementation in the NBA.
Key areas of focus while at the Trail Blazers included organizational strategy, revenue strategy, major vendor contract evaluation, capital improvement project evaluation, technology and innovation, organizational and departmental reporting, ticket operations, CRM/consumer insights, business opportunity analysis, ROI analysis, marketing automation, and pricing and yield analysis.
Prior to the Trail Blazers, Ircandia was Director of Business Operations and Analytics for AEG Sports, where he worked with department heads to identify and evaluate revenue enhancement opportunities and increase margins. In this same role, Ircandia provided AEG Sports member properties, including the LA Kings and LA Galaxy, with the analytical support necessary to create sophisticated and accountable cultures.
His previous work experience includes equity research, corporate finance and venture capital roles with two industry leading investment firms, including over $17B in mergers, acquisition and equity financing experience.
Ircandia earned his MBA at USC's Marshall School of Business.
